Sarah Jessica Parker Got 'Nervous' When Matthew Broderick Visited the 'SATC' Set

Sarah Jessica Parker is known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City.” Her husband, Matthew Broderick has some iconic roles of his own up his sleeve, like Ferris Bueller in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." But it turns out, the two don't necessarily like seeing each other strut their stuff at work.

“Sex and the City” star just opened up to the New York Times on how she would get nervous when her husband visited her on set. Broderick participated in the interview as well.

“I’d get so nervous,” the actress said. “Like, Matthew’s here! Don’t look at me!”

Broderick agreed and said he also gets nervous when his missus is around and watching him do his thing. “That’s the thing. You don’t want anybody to see,” he said.

“It’s all so embarrassing,” Parker said. She also said she was “getting hives just thinking about (Broderick) being on set.”

The longtime married couple tied the knot in 1997 and have three children together. They are also starring together in the upcoming Broadway revival of Neil Simon’s comedy “Plaza Suite.”

Back in February, the actress posted a picture thanking everyone who came to see “Plaza Suite" in Boston.

She captioned the photo, “Thank you Boston. Thank you @emersoncolonial for your hospitality and your divine audiences who welcomed us and filled us with encouragement and much joy."

She continued, "Thank you to the crew backstage who we will miss, the ushers who always offered smiles and kindness and to our local Boston wardrobe and hair team. Thank you friends and family who took trains, planes and automobiles to join our audiences. We are forever grateful. @plazasuitebway Onward to NYC. Goodnight.”
